The marine bored piling was using RCD method. This RCD method required permanent casing and only suitable for granular soil i.e Sandy Sand. Normally driven pile will be used for the foundation of marine bridge, but for some cases, marine bored pile shall be used for sensitive area where vibration and settlement are not allowed.
